Today, the 22nd of the month of April, the year 1726, I the scribe in this parish, joined by the gathering of the people of this parish, declare that Marie Raguet died, was given all the sacraments and is to be buried the next day. Francois Ory, the husband presents (as witnesses) Nicolas Parandeu, resident of la Broc, Sebastien Hugien, resident of Schirmeck and school teacher in this area, who all sign below, except Nicolas Parondeu who says he cannot write.
